Ella Risby - Founder
As the founder and director of Emerald Communications, Ella has extensive experience in a wide range of industries including tech, publishing, real estate and property, health and wellbeing, finance, hospitality and retail - both B2B and B2C.
From developing and executing strategic marketing plans, to re-inventing old brands in a changing market place, Ella has an innovative flair, business acumen and in depth knowledge of marketing, branding and advertising. It’s Ella’s experience and passion that drives her to build brands that engage across digital, traditional, social and new cutting edge mediums.
Having always wanted to start her own business, Ella founded Emerald Communications after identifying an opportunity in the market - many businesses, especially operating in the SME field, wanted a more flexible, and cost effective solution to their marketing and advertising. One that didn't include either the employment of a large expensive ad or marketing agency (where the person who pitches to you never ends up working on your campaign), and one that didn't require the hiring of marketing departments, or employees (especially for those in their start-up phase).
Since Emerald’s inception, Ella has been working with clients on many things, including marketing strategy, growth planning, media planning and buying, SEO strategies, branding, design, website development, marketing consulting, digital marketing, market research, content development and e-commerce (just to name a few)
